Nigeria Invokes Quarantine Act to Lockdown her major cities.

Currently, a lockdown subsists in Nigeria’s major cities including Lagos, Abuja, etc.

The government is relying on the provisions of the Quarantine Act to prevent a further spread of COVID19 that has since been declared a global pandemic.

The quarantine act prescribes a 6-month jail term for anybody who contravenes any provision of the act.
