Hello I seem to be getting a lot of messages requesting ‘how to make MDCN payment on Remita’.
First I want to say the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) periodically release NEW instructions and guidelines for payment to the council.
It is proper I state here that, DoctorsQuarters.com is NOT an agent for MDCN, we only share prompt and well researched information from (or about) professional councils activities for the interest of our readers.
Recall that last year we updated you on the latest MDCN Payment Instructions to Remita… READ HERE to know more. There you will get the Step-by-Step process to making payment to MDCN via Remita.
However, the Medical and Dental council have upgraded the process using the GIFMIS Revenue Reference Number. Get details below:
INSTRUCTION FOR MDCN PAYMENT THROUGH THE REMITA PAYMENT PLATFORM
1. All payments for MDCN Licences/Certificates/Services through the remita payment platform should be made using the GIFMIS Revenue Reference Numbers (RRN) listed below.
2. Doctors are also advised to use the code for the closest location to them for payment.
What Is REMITA?
Remita is a comprehensive payment solution for anyone and everyone, according to the company’s website.
Whether you intend to use Remita for personal or business purposes, this multi-device platform lets you view all your bank balances – from different banks – on a single screen, easily transfer money to one or more beneficiaries, pay bills, view detailed transaction reports on-the-go, and much more.
Remita also allows businesses to conveniently receive payments from customers in a faster manner, through nine different channels, including the Remita Mobile App and Website, Internet Banking, Point of Sales (PoS) Terminals, Debit/Credit Cards, Merchant’s Website, Bank Branches, Mobile Wallets and Standing Order/Direct Debit.
Fast emerging as Africa’s preferred payment platform, Remita is chosen by millions of people and thousands of organisations. It is the default payment gateway that facilitates the Federal Government of Nigeria’s Treasury Single Account (TSA), the largest and most impactful of its kind in Africa.
Remita launched in 2005 and is fully developed in Lagos Nigeria by SystemSpecs.
Payments and money are magnets to quacks and defrauders who lurk around for unwitting doctors.
Remember doctors are perceived to be highly paid, especially in the USA. This is not totally true for Nigerian Doctors.
Ensure that your options legit and that any process is not shrouded in secrecy. From the comfort of your home, you can now make your payments to the medical council without involving any third party.
Always remember this…
