Nigeria has a health sector that many practitioners, and clients are not proud of. The sector simply cannot boast of lasting and far reaching policy that spans over 10 years. Personally, I had high hopes that the National Health Insurance Scheme of the Federal Government would be an exception. Every little success fades into the wind.
Observers believe that a “Disruptive Model” is one sure way to rejig the whole sector and kick-start it to excellence.
It is on this note that organizers of the Nigerian Student Health Professional Event concur with the Disruptive Model as being espoused by the Healthcare Federation of Nigeria, since one cannot expect to get a better result if he sticks to the old non-productive way of doing things.
The Nigerian Student Health Professional Contest/Event is the premiere health entertainment platform in the region and is poised to be the largest of the series yet. The event leverages on the multi-talented students who study in colleges of Medicine spread across the country.
The event is tagged #BeautyNBrains.
The next event takes place on January 5th, 2018, at the Art Nouveux Event Center, Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria and will attract more than 500 health and non-health students/youths as it host over 20 leading health and entertainment experts, suppliers and service providers. A major climax of the event is the crowning of winners among the contestants, in 3 main categories.

- Face of DoctorsQuarters (FODQ)

MEET THE CONTESTANTS
Being an health entertainment event, contestants have been carefully selected through an independent verifiable process. They would be showcasing the beauty and brains that is largely common in medical colleges.
By the end of the event, a Mr Nigerian Student Health Professional and a Miss Nigerian Student Health Professional will emerge to claim their prize; while the grand prize will go the Face of DoctorsQuarters title winner.

Delegates are representatives from surrounding medical or health science colleges, and/or professional bodies. They would have special opportunity of attending the master classes particularly planned for them as it would be most beneficial to them.
Prior ticketing arrangements needs to be concluded with the organizers to allow for special discounted ticket costs for student bodies and corporate organizations interested in attending the event as delegates
