The Nigerian Medical Association will this year hold her Annual General Meeting in the nation’s fastest growing capital city, Abuja. Hence it is tagged Abuja 2018. The event is Nigeria’s largest annual gathering of Medical doctors, Clinicians and administrators that brainstorm on Nigeria’s Health sector challenges and proffering far reaching solutions.
This year, the Theme of the AGM is Quality Healthcare Delivery – An Indicator of Good Governance.
The week long event is loaded with a host of other ancillary activities as shown in the brochure.
Doctors are encouraged to register early enough for the event to enjoy the heavy discount attached to being an ‘early bird’. Hotel booking have been made available and is based on First Come, First Serve Principle.
Late registration and On-site registration attracts more fees just as the Nigerian Medical Association rounded off thus year’s NMA Games tagged Abeokuta 2018.

NMA GAMES, ABEOKUTA 2018… The Physical Option
The Nigerian Medical Association Games 2018 took place in the ancient town of Abeokuta, the Ogun State Capital. With sporting activities ranging from football, table tennis, to lawn tennis, to badminton, to volleyball, to chess, to scrabble etc, medical sports men and women (note that participants are all medical doctors) were on the MKO Abiola Stadium to compete across the different sporting categories. The 2018 NMA national games is proudly supported by Mega Lifesciences Nigeria Limited, makers of Ginsomin.

Meet Dr Chinwe and Dr Amaikiye, both of whom are on the South-South Delegation for the sporting activity.
Dr Chinwe has always been a sporting guru, as she plays basketball and volleyball. But her love for table tennis came to the fore in the 2018 NMA Games, where she came top on the score board to claim the Gold Medal.
Originally not an indigene of the South South part of the country, Dr Chinwe proved her mettle by representing a region dear to her in the NMA Games.

Dr Amaikiye, a native of South South Nigeria, must feel proud to bring home the Badminton Medal. Shortly after winning she and her team mates took to a part of the stadium to relish the close call victory.
