Nigeria’s medical community have been thrown into mourning.
A LUTH-trained consultant have passed on after getting exposed to a Coronavirus patient in his hospital.
Sadly, he was a known asthmatic.
Dr Chugbo Emeka (MBBS Lagos 1990) was a father and a medical expert. He was said to have been treating a Corona Virus patient.
Few days later he began to show symptoms of the viral infection when he was rushed to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital for expert treatment.
It was confirmed he had Corona virus, but he did not survive the viral onslaught.
