How to get an e-Yellow Fever Card before traveling abroad.

Yellow fever is a disease of public importance and many travels involving other countries require you show a piece of evidence that you have recently been vaccinated of Yellow Fever.

Yellow fever is a vaccine-preventable disease. So it is quite easy to obtain the Yellow Fever card from authorized point in the countries of origin.

A frequent traveler shared his experience on how and where he was able to secure the new eYellow Card in Nigeria. Hear him;

Go to the Department of Public Health at the international airport. Once you make your way to the Departure Lounge, ask for the location of the Post office. The Department of Public Health is simply opposite the post office.
Go with your International Passport and there they will give you the Yellow Fever injection and your yellow card for a small token, N1k.
I advise you obtain your yellow fever card at the airport rather than at the local govt. health centers as their vaccine batch numbers may not tally with the ones they inoculate you with at the airport.
