Pfizer Inc. posted this picture on its twitter page this morning. I found it interesting because it depicted the major symptoms arising from any gynaecological malignancy; Ovarian Cancer.
These are the common symptoms of Ovarian cancer, a leading cause of death, of cancerous origin, in a gynaecologic clinic. But the commonest cause of cancerous death in our environment is the Cervical cancer.
Unlike Ovarian Cancer, Cervical cancer can be detected easily before it gets too bad, and it can even be treated, when women get regularly tested using the pap smear.
So, be observant. If you begin to notice any of these symptoms, do not hesitate to contact your physician, it may just be tell tale signs of an underlying cancer.
