Send Your Internship Application Via An Excellent World-Class Service – ParcelMedico

Hello my dear readers, I m excited whenever I see something great… This has to do with a service that is revolutionizing how Nigeria’s new promising medical / health science graduates are submitting internship applications to centers of their choice, without having to put their lives at risk as a result of numerous road travels. The new health service company, ParcelMedico, is the new darling of Nigeria’s Health System.

Six months into the establishment of the ParcelMedico, there is to need to inform you about what ParcelMedico is all about, their services, challenges, rules, promos and at the same time get meaningful inputs as to how to improve  this nouvel service.

Your sincere comments, criticisms, and recommendations are highly important.

Kindly read the article written by the initiator of ParcelMedico, Dr Ogbodu Oghenekaro.

WHAT IS PARCELMEDICO ALL ABOUT?

Parcelmedico is a platform borne out of the need to fill the information gap and social distance between the hospitals and prospective interns. Parcelmedico started in October 1st, 2016. Currently we have over 1500 participants on whatsapp spread over 5 groups, over 660 likes on Facebook page, and over 250 on Facebook group.

We share internship related information, publications and notices from hospitals nationwide. And more importantly, we also help in submission of applications for internship. All these we do basically via citizen-based reportage. We are not affiliated to any hospital. Our admins are Dr Amara, Dr Bicoff, Dr Gabriel, Scientist Jerry, Dr Principle and Dr Karo.

WHAT IS THE PRICING SYSTEM OF PARCELMEDICO?

Basically we charge zero naira for joining our platforms where one could get internship info at your doorsteps.
However we have competitive prices for submission of applications. We are aware of the difficulties of access to funds as fresh unemployed graduates coupled with the economic realities currently, hence we competitively charge N1500 for submission of applications despite having superior services.
In some cases, if the application demands printing of Passports, we charge N2000. If there are transportation difficulties with some centers, we also charge N2000. In some rare occasions, some centers demand up to 10 copies of each documents of an applicant, we charge above N2000.
In the absence of these bottlenecks, we charge basically N1500.

OUR PROMOS AND GOODIES.

We give a free submission of application after we have submitted 5 applications for you. Meaning we submit the 6th application free.
In cases of missed applications (though rare), we refund or replace it with another center depending on the choice of the individual. In some cases we also guide and advise on the best possible center to get placements based on candidate’s state, region and choice.

OUR CHALLENGES.

MOBILE SCANNED DOCUMENTS:
We actually don’t accept mobile scanned documents because it gives us difficulties while printing, it makes the application dirty and not nice. Despite the warning against it, people still send mobile scanned documents which we painfully reject.

UNREMITTED PARCEL CHARGES:
Because we know that everyone can lack finances at some point, in many instances we have submitted for people to pay later. Unfortunately some of them after begging that u submit for them, you will beg them more than 3 months to pay up. We have cases of up to 5 months.
Currently over N50,000 (fifty thousand ) is currently being owed by our clients.

DOUBTS OVER THE GENUINENESS OF OUR SERVICES:
In some few cases, some clients doubt if we submitted their applications and get to say sorry when they receive SMS for invitation for interview.
Please note that we offer genuine services and we always announce after any submission is made.
We have plans of expanding and even getting registered with corporate affairs. So we have a reputation to protect.
However if you doubt or have trust issues regarding our services, you could seek alternative means of submitting your applications.

SPAMMERS:
We are very much aware of some individuals on our group spamming us to run parcel services. I’m not against this but please do not hold me responsible if there are any issues with your application.
Some persons have called and chatted that they booked applications with someone in the group and want to find out if the application has been submitted. Except if I made the publication, please I am not responsible for any other services u booked that is not me.
For those spamming, please kindly make sure that you submit any application u accepted and please don’t advertise on our platform.

FAKE LICENSES:
We have rejected many applications on the ground of fake licenses. Please note that we don’t accept mutilated licenses. Kindly make sure that your documents are original.

POSTING OF UNRELATED ISSUES ON OUR PLATFORM:
We strictly frown at this. The platforms are meant for internship discussions only. There are many other platforms to share other issues. Posting unrelated issues will lead to ejection.

UNMET NEEDS:
Over 10,000 prospective interns graduate annually across the country. Our coverage covers roughly over 2,000. There are lots of interns not under our radar, and this worries me.
I want to simply appeal to you to help us publicize the platforms. Kindly like our page on Facebook, share the page on Facebook, invite friends. We are ready to meet their needs.
