Nigeria Radiographers Up The Standard… CT-Scan Training Curriculum Boosted.

Radiographers Registration Board of NigeriaThe Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN) has reviewed the country’s Computed Tomography (CT Scan) training curriculum to current international standards, Registrar of the Board, Mr. Michael S. Okpaleke, has said. It is quite possible that the board have considered the cost implication on patients, who cannot afford it.

The review of the curriculum was necessary because of the dynamism in the radiography profession and to reduce capital flight and the money spent by Nigerians on medical tourism abroad.

“A unified and up to date protocol of CT imaging curriculum was developed in line with international best practices that would ensure harmony in practice across the country as well make them be at par with what is happening in other places.
We harmonised what was in use, reviewed it and also input what is obtainable globally.
