A number of Non-governmental organisations have come together and put up a series of cancer awareness and management programs. This is a deliberate and conscious effort to stamp Cancer out of Nigeria… This year’s World Cancer Day (Feb 4, 2016), is tagged #WeCanICan.
Already the #CancerAwareNigeria, Breast Without Spots, have done the activities, as scheduled. 4 Other Non Governmental Outfits are scheduled to hold more activities from today, including free cervical screening, free breast cancer screening, dedicated cancer helplines, cancer survivorship seminar, helplines on childhood cancer, cancer walks and a charity football match.
