ABUTH Not On Strike, CMD Clarifies

Zaria — The Chief Medical Director of the Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital (ABUTH), Professor Lawal Khalid, has clarified that doctors and other health workers of the hospital are not on strike.

Doctors and health workers at the ABU campuses health services declared an indefinite strike on Saturday, and this was mistaken as ABUTH.

Professor Khalid said all operations at ABUTH were going on smoothly with doctors and other health workers attending to patients.

“Although we have witnessed many strike actions recently, there is no strike in ABUTH presently. This clarification is necessary for the sake of our patients and other people that patronise the hospital,” Professor Khalid said.
